A CRIANÇA ESPERA? O ESPAÇO CONVIVER COMO DISPOSITIVO DE CUIDADO

Resumo

O presente estudo engloba o tema da sala de espera nos espaços de saúde; mais precisamente, o Espaço Conviver, uma sala especificamente destinada à espera/ao acolhimento em uma clínica-escola vinculada a uma Universidade do interior do Rio Grande do Sul. Buscou-se, com o trabalho, analisar de que modo este espaço do serviço pode se constituir como prática de cuidado para crianças que o frequentam. Dentre os objetivos específicos intenta-se discutir sobre a Sala de Espera como dispositivo de cuidado e compreender como crianças, familiares e acompanhantes percebem os significados e efeitos deste espaço no público infantil. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com oito crianças e seus respectivos familiares e acompanhantes, em momentos distintos, com dois roteiros diferentes, de acordo com o público-alvo. Como ferramenta de análise dos dados utilizou-se a Análise de Conteúdo. Pode-se destacar que o local de espera é um ambiente que permite encontro, convivência com os demais, possibilidades de atividades para crianças e adultos enquanto estão em espera. Além disso, o fato de estar ou ficar sozinho enquanto se espera também foi mencionado e permite refletir sobre os locais de espera disponíveis. Sendo assim, foi possível analisar a importância das salas de espera nos serviços de saúde, pois estas, muitas vezes, são a porta de entrada dos sujeitos e primeira forma de acolhimento, possibilitando formas de diálogo e aproximação com os profissionais da saúde.

ABSTRACT 

The present study encompasses the theme of the waiting room in the health environments; most precisely, the Espaço Conviver, a room specifically destinated to the waiting/welcoming in a school-clinic linked  to a University in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. In the study we aimed to analyze in what ways this environment can constitute itself as the praxis of the care for the children who attend it. Among the specific objectives, it tries to discuss the Waiting Room as a device of care, and also to understand how children, their relatives, and accompaniers understand the meanings and the effects of this environment on the children. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with eight children and their respective relatives and those who accompanied, in separate moments, with two different scripts, according to the target public.The Content Analysis was used as an analyzing tool. The waiting room can be highlighted as an environment that allows meetings, interaction among the users, and possibilities for children and adults while they wait. Besides that, the fact that being alone while waiting is also mentioned and it allows the users to reflect on the available waiting areas.Considering these, it was possible to analyze the importance of the waiting areas in the health system, because, many times, they are the door and entrance for the proplr and the first tool of welcoming them, making it possible to have ways of dialogue and closeness with the health system professionals.
