RESISTIR E TRANSFORMAR: O POTENCIAL ESTÉTICO-POLÍTICO DA ARTE PERIFÉRICA

O presente artigo é fruto de uma pesquisa que objetivou problematizar a arte periférica enquanto potência estético-política e seus efeitos na composição social. Assim, buscou-se compreender a relação entre a arte e a política, a partir de autores que discutem essa temática sob uma perspectiva crítica. A pesquisa realizada procurou entender a relação da arte enquanto movimento produtor de fissuras e transformações por meio do questionamento das lógicas sociais instituídas no comum, que produzem desigualdades e marginalizações. Entendendo que através das expressões artísticas é possível criar condições de voz e visibilidade operando mudanças e resistências, foi considerada a arte produzida em contextos de periferia e que pontuam as problemáticas e os marcadores sociais que atravessam esse território. Como metodologia, lançou-se mão da pesquisa documental com a construção de um arquivo de materiais artísticos produzidos por coletivos e artistas autônomos de duas cidades da Zona da Mata mineira. Para ilustrar o objetivo da pesquisa, foram selecionadas manifestações artísticas periféricas e empregadas no texto a fim abarcar a compreensão da arte de periferia enquanto dispositivo de resistência e reinvenção dos territórios periféricos. A presente pesquisa comprovou, através dos dados coletados, que a arte de periferia atua enquanto um mecanismo estético-político de resistência e transformação social a partir do que ela gera no mundo sensível comum.

RESIST AND TRANSFORM: THE POLITICAL AESTHETIC POTENTIAL OF PERIPHERAL ART
 

ABSTRACT:

This article is the result of a research that aimed to problematize a peripheral art

the aesthetic-political cause and, under the influence of Thus, sought a relationship between art and politics, starting with authors who discuss this subject from a critical perspective. The researches were carried out explicitly on the relation between the arts and the social changes and transformations for the process of questioning the social logics instituted in the common sense, that cause inequalities and marginalizations. What makes the artistic expressions can create conditions of voice and visibility, as well as the resistance, the media and the indicators of pressure and opinion that are problematic and the social markers that lead to the said territory. How does the methodology, materialized, make use of documentary research with the construction of a set of artistic materials, produced by collectives and autonomous artists of two works in the Zona da Mata mineira. To illustrate the objective of the research, we selected peripheral artificial manifestations and used in the text and end of an understanding of the peripheral art as the instrument of strength and reinvention of the peripheral territories. The present study validated, through the data collecting, that the art of periphery operates while the social-logic mechanism of resistance and social resistance from what it generates in the common ordinary world.
